So out of the blue my Motherboard has decided my GPU no longer exists.
Was working fine yesterday, and now today it doesn't even appear in the BIOS or in devices when I run safemode. The mobo's video output is working fine.

So far I've tried: Reset CMOS
Move the card from one PCI-E slot to the next
Set the PCI-E as the main source of video in the BIOS
Reset BIOS to default settings

Nothing has worked thus far.

If possible I would like to try all options before considering that fact.
Besides the card is barely a year old

I live in a small island called Puerto Rico, where computer parts don't sell very much.
I unpacked card brand new exactly 15 months ago.
If you're not here to help me and question everything I say then I kindly ask you to leave.

Updated the BIOS from version 1008 to 2205, no dice, still isn't recognizing the card.
What irks me is the system was working fine yesterday

I get what you mean, and I accept it's a possibility, but money is short and I would like to leave the faulty GPU option til the very end. Updated the BIOS to no avail, not sure what else to do at this point, maybe mess around with the BIOS settings?

It's pretty easy with today's BIOS to be honest. Back in my day BIOS didn't have so many options let alone a freaking mouse pointer!

Yes you do, it's in the title, the board is an ASUS Z97 AR.
Funny enough I don't think I did try the other side of the 12 volt trail, will try now.
The reason I didn't was the GPU fans were turning on just fine, but I'm running out of options now.
