So guys, here is the thing, I am building my new setup, with an Asus Sabertooth Mark S and i5-4690k.

I intalled everything and the firt time i booted there was no video signal and the CPU_led was red on the mobo.
I checked the cpu pins on the mobo and they are not bend. I tried running without the Vga and memories and the same thing happens.
For last I tried updating the bios with the usb, since I read that the DC was not reconizable from the factory bios. I tried flashing it a couple of times, but it still gives me the Cpu_led red and now I dont know if I killed the mobo by not doing it correctly or if the problem is something else.

Fyi the way i updated was: I downloaded the .cap file and renamed it according to the manual "Z97STS.CAP", plugged in the mobo flash usb, removed everything but the power cables and held the button for 3 secs. The button light blinked a couple of times and after it stopped i turned it off, re-installed everything and tested it.

Can someone share some thoughts of what might be happening?

The led is still on,only with cpu and cpu fan installed, also the board did not have power button onboard so I used a key to power it on. The last four digits are 2012.

The CPU is supported, so no need to update the BIOS (if the updating process is not successful, it adds to the problem).
I suggest removing the CPU and checking the CPU socket for bent pins. If pins ok, it might be a board issue and RMA-ing it might solve the problem.

Well, there are no bent pins on the socket. Do you think the cpu could be damaged or you strongly think it is the mobo?
