Have a few systems with Asus z97k Mobo's, that were upgraded to samsung SSDs and Windows 10. The systems boots into to bios. I make not changes, save and continue, and it boots to windows just fine. It will continue to boot to windows just fine, until its unplugged, then its back to booting to bios. In troubleshooting, I noticed that if I turn off CSM, its back on after being unplugged. I have removed the GPU (gtx 610) and verified the boot drive is GPT. Ive disabled secure boot, and even reinstalled windows 10 pro via usb. No changes.

systems specs are - Asus z97k mobo / Samsung 840 evo SSD / Gtx 610 gpu / 4gb Corsiar xms3 ram.

Im at a loss of what else it could be.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Found the problem. Cmos Battery was only showing .98v. Put in a fresh 3v and it boots just fine.
I guess it had enough voltage to retain the clock, but not any settings I changed in the bios.
