Question Asus Zen ET8 can't communicate over LAN ?

I can't seem to get my computers to communicate with each other over the LAN after changing to the Zen ET8. I used Terminal on my MacBook to ping my PC and I'm not getting anything.

Any thoughts?

Okay, I have connected Mac to Mac, but I cannot connect Mac to PC over the LAN. I cannot ping the computer. I went into Windows Firewall and allow Echo over IPv4 and 6. I have the computers able to ping now. But is there something else in the Windows settings I should do to allow the computers to communicate and share files with each other? I just switched out to using the new router.
