I honestly don't care about the lenovo's capabilty to bend in all kinds of shapes, I just want a good laptop. Not sure about only getting 6 months on the battery of the Lenovo, much rather have 2 years but the odds of it breaking cant be massive. The thing about the Asus is that it only has the i5, I figure it's 10% slower than the i7 found in the lenovo, not the greatest deal but still. The asus also only comes with 128 gb of storage but I think it will be enough and fast small usb drives are not that expensive anymore. This does limit the amount of storage for programs and small games. Battery life is key for me, both of them seem to have a decent battery.

Which do you think is the better choice?

Solution
Am against all convertibles, too heavy for a notepad, too under-powered for a laptop. But it has an I7 you say, hope you like holding a hot notepad.
I would choose the asus assuming the 128 gigs ssd is enough storage. I personally prefer normal laptop as opposed to touchscreens as they tend to be glossy which in my opinion makes it hard to use outdoors or with very bright lighting. Also they tend to be lighter as the hinge doesn't have to be as robust. Plus the i5 is good for normal tasks.

If I for some reason would like more storage in the future on the asus, will a permanent slim usb drive be a solution? Would you notice the difference with native storage?
