I bought a pair of M40X headphones about a year ago. Today I started noticing that during certain songs or videos (almost all) they would crackle on regular intervals between 15-45 seconds. They would not crackle when no sound is played, and they do not hiss what-so-ever.
Ive been using amps set to heavy presets that draw as much sound as possible, ill share images of what ive been using

Im not sure whether or not ive damaged the headphones
They crackle on both of the cables I have
Extra information: Curled cable is bent , Crackle on both my laptop and 3 phones that ive currently tested.

Edit: Its even doing it for my apple earbuds on my laptop and phone.

1| Are you sure your audio drivers are up to date? What OS are you on?
2| Are you suing a laptop or a desktop? In either case, please list it's specs/SKU to understand what your sound card is.
3| Are you sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?
4| If the issue is seen on all your audio output devices, then the issue can be compounded to your sound card and it's accompanying drivers.

1.) Yes they are up to date, I am on windows 10
2.) Im using a laptop called the "HP 15 notebook" specs on following link http://www.notebookocean.com/hp-15-f162dx-specs/
3.) Im not entirely sure if the BIOS is up to date
4.) I believe it may be my laptop and headphones specifically because the problem goes away when using the earbuds with my phone, I was thinking of doing a "burn in" tonight and seeing if anything changes.
PS: Thank you for replying so quickly.
