Hello, I'm soon getting a new PC configuration and I'm wondering if I should go with HD7850 when I will be using Athlon II x4 951k (3,0Ghz) at resolution of 1360x768. And since I'm not on that big resolution I consider that HD7850 will run any game on high/ultra settings in the next few years and that's why I want to buy it.. it's a powerful card and my resolution is low so I'll be like a gamer with GTX680 on a 1080 resolution.

That's not the problem thought. I think the CPU will be a bottleneck and it wont keep up with the video card. If this happens, will I get limited framerates like 70 for example or I'll drop to 20 - 25. I know it depends on which game I will be playing but if the CPU bottlenecks my GPU and the FPS drops to 20 - 25 it will be a waste I spend way much more money on GPU.

Im not going to lie to you you will notice bottlenecking in some games but it won't be that severe at all.
let me explain it this way if you can get 70 FPS with a Core i7 in the worst case scenerio you'll get 40 FPS with your Athlon.Realisticly if he gets 70 you'll probably get 60-65.

You should take a look at this article.
http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-7970-cpu-scaling-performance-review/1
It shows how the HD 7970 scales with processor performance.

Your processor is as fast or a bit faster than the Athlon 645 in that review.
Your resolution is pretty much as big as 1280x1024.
The HD 7970 is twice faster than your HD 7850 so the difference between the best and worst CPU with your graphics card will be two times smaller.

Well I am buying all the parts from http://nikem-bg.net/magazin.php?search=VIDEOCARD so I don't think I have a big choice.. it's all between those 3 configurations:

They are all almost the same price and I really don't know.

The Pentium G860 is cheaper than the 651K and performs better http://nikem-bg.net/computer-components/G860-3.0GHZ-3MB-LGA1155-BOX

The 651K performs like the 645

I would be very confident that 2 strong cores will still beat the 4 weaker cores in 2 years as it currently beats them in all games I can find and at least 1 of them but be coded well to use 4 cores, especially as the 4 core i5s always beat the dual core G series and i3s.

The PSU is 600W Cooler Master. With HD7850 I will not even reach 400W consumation so that's 60% max load.. it wont blow up. Thank you for warning me about the PSU but I don't have a big choice since im on a budget and the website doesn't provide much options for ppl like me.

I have another question so I'll ask here instead of opening a new thread. Is it a problem if I get a Phenom II x4 with a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT ? The motherboard supports that CPU but has 4 pin connector and the CPU uses 140W..

I've heard people using 4 pin connector for Phenom 955 / 965 / 1100T / FX series and not having a problem.. I will keep both the GPU and CPU on stock clocks.

Phenom is not a bulldozer that needs AM3+ lmao.. The motherboard supports AM3 without BIOS flash. I need other people's opinion about my question I guess.. Thank you anyway.
And here it is:

"Is it a problem if I get a Phenom II x4 with a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT ? The motherboard supports that CPU but has 4 pin connector and the CPU uses 140W.."

The exact name of the motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2 (rev. 1.0) . Phenom II x4 965 is 140W and this mobo doesn't support it.. I will have to find another one..

I found the S2P version of the same motherboard and it supports Phenom II x4 965 . Thank you all.. now the only thing I have to worry about, like Sunius said before, is the PSU.. I will ask the provider to give me the exact name of the PSU that is in the CM K350 case. Good luck in everything and thank you again.
