So right now I have an Athlon x4 880k in my rig paired with an RX 460. I wanna upgrade my cpu but fm2+ is a dead socket. What do I do? I live in Canada where computer components are stupidly costly in comparison to USA. What is the cheapest cpu upgrade that would be worth the money?

Like today I was playing battlefield 4 on ultra (free trial for 7 days so why not) and I would get massive frame drops from 55fps to like 25 and it would shoot right back up again, this happened with all presets (ultra, high, med and low). And when I try to play another game called Insurgency (this game is known to be quite optimized) I get massive frame drops for no reason. Ive asked around and people are saying my cpu is too weak and that my graphics card should be able to handle these games without frame drops. Also graphics card and CPU always stay under 70 degrees celsius (GPU 45 degrees when gaming and CPU 60 degrees with stock cooler)

I am getting massive frame drops in my games. It isnt because of the area i am within the game it is just quite massive frame drops at random times. I at first maybe it was heat but my g card remains at 45 degrees while gaming while my cpu remains at 60 degrees while gaming (celsius). If it isnt my cpu, should I upgrade to the RX 470?

Sorry for the late response.

Is there any way you can monitor your CPU and GPU usage during gameplay?

I am currently I having trouble running MSI afterburner and Idk any other programs that manage ur cpu and gpu usage during game play

Ok I got msi to work but it wont display with BF 4, but works fine with insurgency... (btw on insurgency frame drops are a lot less existent)
