i presume you have ddr or ddr 2 ... i understood you have a 915 mobo....still not sure ..replly with details if you need more help......what kind of cpu do you have .......???!!!! details please

you must understand my friend that video card is not enough for games.....games require video card plus CPU backed up by huge amount of RAM....

ok ...first you must understant that everyone arround here .. those trying to help ... are pro`s..and i must admit that card on that kind of sistem it`s a joke indeed and many guys made a lot of jokes on it ... the card is simply to powerfull for that sistem...but there is hope ..listen...

i`m going to help you......first you must increase the amount of sistem ram ....try to find some additional RAM ..maybe 256 or higher ..than you test the sistem again and yuo`ll notice same improvement..
well 512 ram will do on many games..but for newer games .... you need 1024..this is the problem my friend that card is biuld to perform ...and newer games need a huge amount of RAM.... still there are going to be problems that hdd of yours is quite old and slow ..but first you must increase RAM.......
good luck

Yeah, I gave him some of those hints...but no one ever listens to me...

I find it difficult to believe this thread is at all serious. I cannot believe anyone is stupid enough to stick a 850XtPe into something with 128Mb of RAM and expect it to play anything. A machine with 128Mb of RAM running XP will probably struggle with solitaire, FGS....

I call hoax. 😀

For fun, lets try and take you seriously for a minute. What should you do? Return the card if you can. or Sell the X850XTpe AGP as it is rare and should bring you $300 on ebay. Then sell the rest of the system which should give you another $13.67. Take the $313.67 and put it toward a new S939 A64 PCI-e rig. Then you will be ready to game.

this kid iz as idiot as my pc assembler.u r jackass

OK Mr. "idoit", prove me wrong.

Post a screenshot in your windows device manager showing you have an X850 XT, and in system properties showing your RAM and processor.

L33t RoxX0rz Lolz LOlZ!!!

I second the hoaz thought.

You guys just don't have enough faith in the stupidity of rich young kids who don't know how to actually spell and think they're ghetto. You know. The ones who think putting 24" wheels on a Civic is cool. And the wing on the back, 5" exhaust tip, and 500 lbs of stereo equipment make it faster.

But I partially agree with you.

Yeah, but what kind of rich kid would have a 1.9 Ghz 128mb machine?

You know what... Max Payne 2 is pretty old, if I recall correctly I had a Radeon 8500 and 1.2Ghz machine at the time... and it ran just fine. I probably had 256mb of RAM but, still... even with those pathetic specs he'd be getting more than 2 fps for sure.

The kid's full of $hit, plain and simple. lolzlolzlolz! 😛

LOL

My friends from class just turned me on to this topic, so I signed up just so I could laugh at this kid....

Wow... "U R JACKASS" :O

Wow wow wow.

:)

Sorry to chip in, but do they actually sell 128mb SDRAM anymore? It's a exotic rarity here in South Africa. If you do get it, just buy the seller a Coke and it's yours.

Is there a 1.9Ghz (Celeron at worst) cpu for 775 sockets? I thought 2ghz died with socket 478?

look at u shithead,r u solving my problem or increasing it.

Instead of blaming everyone else for your problems, first it was the 'Sucky GF6600GT' now it's "the X850 sux".

Seriously those two cards are solid 'best in class', the problem is you're owning them well past their prime, and you're obviously having dificulties not related to the cards themselves, which usually means USER ERROR.

Considering the other posts dude, I have to agree with Cleeve, and if it weren't for his reply I'd have kept ignoring you like I have until today.

I played it on the R9600P, if we still had the same search capability I coud probably find my benchies.

The kid's full of $hit, plain and simple. lolzlolzlolz! 😛

Well the first post of his I rememebr seeing was that Sto0opid wrestling one, that was my first indication that this kid was special needs, and not in a good way. Just click on his nickname, and look at his previous posts, pathetic!

Is it just me or does someone else smell a little PhotoChop-Suey?

I find it interesting that on my numerous Intel systems both the System Properties description and Device Mangler both have the (R)egistered trademark symbols. Also my descriptions line up with the other information's left justification.

I also wonder what these 2 extra pixels are doing at the bottom of the screen;

musta been a problem with SP1 that's been fixed on my rigs?

Either that or maybe this cold medecine is making me see things. 8O

more help caming up:
1....reset the bios ....
2...install a little program called cpu-z ...it`s very small..open it ..and do same screen shots ..for us.....you`ll monitor in there cpu parameters..and we will realise what kind of cpu do you have
i`m going to help you...

lol mate I wanna know where you got the 128mb SDRam and how its running on a board with the 915 chipset on it. Mainly cause if some guy sold it to you its prabobly second hand...

Which might just mean that the idoit whom sold you the X850x Platium may just be sitting in that small room behind his cardboard storefront singing away. I am so smart... S, M, R T.

Hey thats good Benchmarking!!!
