ATi Drivers

Hey AMD_Man, you've always said that the new ATi drivers have improved performance greatly and I don't doubt you, but what are some examples of the perfomance increases? And what are the newest drivers? The one on ATi's site are 5.13.01.6037 under Win2K. I know that there are also many leaked drivers and i was wondering about those drivers performance compared to this one. And lastly what drivers are you using?

No, the 6037 don't contain the newest OpenGL engine that's up to 40% faster. You need to get the 6043 leak for the performance boost. I don't have any links to the performance boost other than that GLExcess link. I have Windows XP and I use the 6043 rev. 2 drivers. The 6052 drivers lock up in Max Payne after a prolonged period of use for some reason (I think it's a memory leak). In any case, I expect ATI to officially release the enhanced drivers within one or two weeks. ATI is taking their time to officially release them to get the bugs out.
