ati radeon x1400 misidentified by windows 7

Hi all
Ive got an Acer Aspire 5672 with a Ati Radeon x1400 GPU I have installed windows 7 and it has mis identified the GPU and assigned it standard VGA drivers.
I have the correct drivers file (no installer though) but cannot update the existing ones as indows thinks its a standard adapter
HELP greatly appreciated

It's a laptop with a non-generic driver. Download and use only the drivers from Acer. If your laptop does not have Windows 7 drivers, you're out of luck.
