I thought the ATI drivers included an overdrive feature as a part. Mine has it, an XT PE, though.
Any chance you just did not install the newest drivers, the old ones might not have this featrure.

There is not a seperate driver for the XT version Pro version. There is only one driver, with or without CCC.

Yes they should, act immediately after discovering this, and you would have to pay difference.

I believe you're suffering a number of Psychological disorders. I prescribe occasional use of both the Full Stop Key, and perhaps even Return.

This won't solve the problems you perceive, but it will certainly help the rest of us.

Problem involves user error, you have no case.

Just another case of <b>RTFM</b>!

The BRILLIANTLY named 'APE' is the answer, search for it.

Well if you don't want to learn how to OC your card, fine, but the problem is you because you're not looking at Sapphire's site, and are talking about unrealistically trying to sue ATI in a case that in discovery alone people would say, well DUH, it's right on Sapphire's site, and in just about every Sapphire review. BTW, mind posting a Knowledge Base or even Reviewer article that says ATI admits to some sort of wrong doing as you claim?

Of course actually RTFM and learning how to use your expensive piece of hardware is just too much effort for some, far easier to come here and bitch about everyone else involved.

BTW, many people have Overdrive working fine on their X800Pro Sapphire cards, many like you had to be shown by others how to do it, but it's obvious that you're more interested in your lawsuit than actually making your card work, thinking naively that anyone will give you a free XT because of your own mistaken assumptions.

And now to balance the thread here are a few random punctuation marks:.;,,;?,.:,.!.,,.?.,;;,,,.,;.,!,,,..,!?!,,,....

I phoned ATI don't get me wrong, i am impressed with the card and i am not bitching about it but my point is that this tech guy that i spoke to said that is does not, as the xtpe was my first choice and if u can get the overdrive to work with x800pro to work with OD link me to the site' plus i am not asking ATI to give me a free card i am asking them to take back my card and i pay extra for the xtpe or they sell me a xtpe at cost i never want it to goto court but in the end when u got a tech guy telling you that i was miss informed and there is not any offical documentaion at the time of purchess of the card i do have a valid point and that they are going to look into it.....................

i have always had ati cards

<A HREF="http://www.sapphiretech.com/broschure/x800-pro.pdf" target="_new">Product Brochure</A> which clearly shows their Redline and APE logos.

Perhaps you should research their Redline feature and newer " A-utomated P-erformance E-nhancement " feature.

It's quite in the open.

Once you figure those out then maybe you're ready to bypass them for Overdrive, but right now, I'd say no.,!!!;:..,,.;~P
