Does ATI radeon 9200 (NOT SE, not pro, just basic) made by ATI itself has
both DVI and VGA connection?

No DVI. This is true for retail-boxed ATi 9200 cards destined for the North
American market. If you encounter a whitebox OEM card, anything goes.

Thanks for replying, that confirmed my suspicion.

What is confusing is that on the same web page you linked, ATI says:
"DISPLAY FEATURES
a.. Dual integrated display controllers to drive two displays
simultaneously with independent resolutions and refresh rates "
What is point of dual display controllers if there is only one VGA
connection? I don't understand ATI.

The TV technically counts as a second display, according ATi's semantics.
The reason for excluding a DVI port is purely packaging: the 9200 has a big
cutout on the circuit board to fit in those tiny Dell cases (think it's
called NLX). This leaves just enough space to mount a regular VGA connector.

On many All-In-Wonder cards, this works in a different way: the place where
a VGA connector normally sits is occupied by the VIVO dongle connector. To
use a CRT monitor, one is forced to use an adapter through the DVI port.

I know! that is so inconvenient!
My AIW9000 only has a DVI connector, why can't they make an affordable card
with both VGA and DVI for people don't play games but do need dual monitors
for more productivities?
