ATT FIBER Replacement ROUTER

What routers will work with a cat 5e cable from my att ont? I am having trouble "bridging" my current att wireless router / modem in order to add the 2nd wifi router. I would like to just plug directly into my ONT with a wireless router.

The ONT is best thought of as a modem. You can pretty much use any router that has a ethernet WAN port.

That said ATT can be jerks at times and you can not remove their router. Not sure I have never had a system based on ONT but their VDSL you have to use their router...and you can't really bridge it.

That functionality has to be turned on by your ISP.
After that, any router should work.
