ATT VS. Cingular

I have a great plan with ATT. The orignal charter gsm unlimited minutes.$99.
My question is, if I was to switch to cinguler will my call quality be
better? Since we are on the same network I figured it would all be the same.
Then I was told the cingular sim card was more advanced then the ATT sim
card.This in turn could make for better quality.I'm wandering if ths is true
is it worth switching?
I need good call quality, and a lot of minutes.

1) Only if your phone is equipped to use the extra capability.

2) If you have spots of absolutely no AT&T coverage, and Cingular
covers those spots. No matter how weak your AT&T signal is, you'll
stay on it. This may change in the future, as the networks get more
and more integrated.

Your plan, however, will definitely change.

Do you have poor quality now? If so, see how a Cingular phone works
where you have no coverage now. (The audio quality, with a good
signal, won't change.)

I'm seeing some DEFINITE changes around here in that regard. My phone
is more and more changing over to CINGULAR where before I had extremely
weak ATT Wireless signal.

Even in my basement, for example. Go figure.

Do you have a 64K sim in your phone?

I also had the $99 plan, which I lost when I switched. I figured I'd
break even with the rollover minutes. So far, I'd say the quality is
about the same.
