I cut my govee light strip to the length I wanted (yes, at the specified cut point), so I'm thinking about what to do with the other part. I want to use it inside my PC case, and my ASUS motherboard comes with a "Extension cable for Addressable LED". Can I connect the four contacts on the strip to this cable? I suppose the voltage of the header on the motherboard matters too, so which of the headers should I plug the cable into?

these are the options:
2 x Aura RGB Strip Header(s)
1 x Addressable Gen 2 header(s)

Thank you!

For reference, this is the strip I am talking about: https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Waterproof-Bedroom-Changing-Adhesive/dp/B07PCR7LPS/

No can do, strip is RGB 12v and "Addressable Gen 2 header(s)" is digital ARGB 5v.

Update: I built my PC and realized that the "aura RGB strip headers" are actually standard RGB headers with +12v, R, G, and B pins. I was able to connect the strip to one of those. But yes, you're right; the addressable headers only have three pins and are 5v. Thanks!
