First off here is my current build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PxMTTW
I am planning on using this computer for gaming and school work(Not 3d rendering)
My plan Is to game on a 1920x1080 monitor with the 2 other monitors being used for web browsing. I plan to do overclocking eventually but not for awhile. My budget is no more than 2000.
The part I am having trouble with is fans. My case is going to be a corsair c70. My plan(most likely severely flawed) is to have two corsair sp120's on the intake of my case and another two on the opposite side of the harddrive cage. I will have 2 Cooler Master R4-S4S-10AK-GP on the bottom bring air in. On the top of the case I will have two corsair af140 on taking air out of the case and on the back of the case 1 Cooler Master R4-S4S-10AK-GP taking air out.
My motherboard that I chose which is the asus maximums VII formula will support 6 4 pin or 3 pin fans with the ability to control either or. However I dont know if my psu will power the other 3 fans and ive been told using a y splitter to power the other 3 fans in sets of 2 would be a bad idea. The three cooler master fans I was hoping to power directly off the psu that I chose which is the Sea Sonic SS-750KM3. However I am losing myself in the different types of cables included with the psu and while i have seen a 3 pin to a 4 pin molex adapter I cannot seem to figure out whether or not my psu will work with such a thing.
So short and sweet here is my problems.
Need help with powering fans from psu
need fan setup checked to for flaws and is it going to be really loud
and possible suggestions on different parts.
