I have an old Alienware gaming computer from around 2008, specifically an Alienware Aurora R4. It's been extremely lacking nowadays when it comes to gaming and I've been heavily considering an upgrade. Currently I've already upgraded to a 1070 Ti 8gb graphics card, but currently my processor is a Intel i7 920 eight core 2.67ghz. I'm inexperienced with building computers and would like to replace my motherboard, processor, ram, and get an SSD. I'd like to get a Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H Motherboard MicroATX, which is what my current size is. For a processor I'm thinking an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x. For my ram I want 32gb, and am thinking of getting OLOy DDR4 RAM 32GB ram sticks. The SSD is a Samsung 860 Evo. I'm wondering if this will all be compatible, my case seems very dated too, having a few holes at the bottom, at the top, and in the back. I don't think my power supply will be an issue, I have 750 Watts. I'd also like to know if there are any other processors, motherboards, or ram that you'd recommend for a similar price that offers better performance. Any help would be extremely appreciated!

For a simplified list of what i'm thinking of upgrading to.
Current Specs------------------------------> Upgraded Specs
Current CPU: Intel core i7 920 2.67ghz eight core ---> AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Current GPU: EVGA Gefore 1070 Ti FTW2 ---> EVGA Geforce 1070Ti FTW2
Current Motherboard: Dell 0H869M - ---> Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H
Current Ram - 10gb, not sure what manufacturer. ---> OLOy 32GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200
PSU - Corsair rm750x ---> Corsair RM750X

Will all of this be compatible? And can I get better parts for a similar price, along with this, since my case is so dated, is it essential for me to get a new one?

Solution
I do not believe that motherboard has Ryzen 3000 compatibility out of the box. I would do something along these line.

Thanks for the help! I have a further question. Do you know if the new case would be a requirement? I'm not sure my current computer's parts would work in a new case seeing as some parts are custom made and such, I can provide an image of my current case if necessary, I think it'd just be more convenient to install a few parts into my current case.

What parts are custom made to fit into the current case?
