Hello ppl !! can u guyz help me build a good fast computer that doesn't slow down with good graphix card, sound card, speakers, motherboard and a crt monitor with a hard drive and a good mid-tower case for my cpu !!

I really need help so i'm counting on u plz !!!

Now Thats if you want pretty close to top of the range before you get stupidly expensive. If you want mid range then

AMD Athlon XP 2100 T-bred B which should overclock to 2800 or better Speeds easily enough with volocano 7+ heatsink or some other good heatsink.

Video Card - ATI Radeon 9500 Pro or NON-Pro
EPOX 8RDA+ NForce2 Motherboard
Memory - 2 x 256Meg Crucial DDR 400 DIMMS
19" Monitor
80Gig Western Digital JB Special Edition

I agree, vk2amv´s suggestions sound good.

I don´t think the Radeon 9800 is available yet, though.
It has just been reviewed by tomshardware! It´ll be a while until it gets to us puny humans and is widely available. Anyway, the 9700 is already top-notch.

Oh, and also, the "stupidly" (well-put) expensive 3.06Ghz P4 HT would be a good option as well, but it´ll add about US$ 300-350 to the overall cost (Cpu+mobo cost that much more, RDRAM would cost about the same as corsair XMS), and the gain is probably not worth it.
