[SOLVED] Audio Balance Problem

I went to get on my pc today, and for some reason the audio is now only going through the right side. Everything I plug in is the same way, so it's not my headset. I have checked the audio balance and they are both 100. I can't see to figure out what the problem is, any help would be greatly appreciated !

Ok, some software balance aside, as in, some audio controlling software setting your balance all the way to the right side, it could be the 3.5mm port, try another one if possible, those ports has 2 connections inside it for the P2 3.5mm plug, one touches the tip wich handles the left channel and another that touches the plug a bit bellow, right under the insulator line, for the right channel, if one is not connecting our touching the channel properly, then no audio for that one, since stereo is standard nowadays it might be it.

What is your motherboard/CPU/GPU?

Which output plugs are you using (front panel, rear panel, a jack on your display) and do you get same problem from them all?

For your information the front panel and rear panel jacks probably uses an audio codec circuit on the motherboard while a jack on your display (if it has one) using HDMI or a Display Port is probably using audio from the video card. But it could depend on what type of system (motherboard/cpu/gpu) you have.
