Hi all,
Kind of a weird question. My keyboard has some media buttons across the top (on the function keys). The volume related ones work, but also don't work.
Say I am watching a YouTube video in a chrome tab. If I press the mute, volume up, or volume down buttons, I get the visual indicator on the top left of my screen that the volume is changing, but the master volume of my system isn't actually affected. The other media buttons, like play/pause, work as intended.
My speakers are plugged into my motherboard directly via 3.5mm. It's just the normal Realtek High Definition Audio drivers (ver 6.0.8746.1 which Windows Update tells me is the latest).
This is probably a really easy fix but I am having a total brain fart here.
