Audio converstion toslink/usb?

Are there any devices on the market that will allow me to plug the USB dongle from my logitec headphones in that will also accept a toslink cable? I want to set my systems up so they all funnel into my headphones so at night I can play games on the TV through a console or just watch the TV. I know I can buy sound cards with a toslink input but I was hoping I could get a standalone box or sorts that is independent so my PC does not have to be on for the system to function.

CPU needs drivers to tell it what to do with this blinking light
so straight conversion adapter, no, it doesn't exist.

If you want, you could skip said dongle (if you also have 3.5mm plugs) and use something like this instead:

Thanks, I will have to search for a 7.1 version but something like that will have to do.
