I have a hd radeon 7870, and have it hooked up to a 55" led tv and a 23" monitor. I was wondering if it were possible and if so how to.........
Have audio for programs ran/displayed on tv to use tv speakers, and
have audio for programs ran/displayed on monitor to use computer speakers.

I've tried all windows options as well as all hardware software, and can only change default speakers which run audio for both displays. is there anyway to have separate audio for each?

I have computer speakers hooked up to the back audio input on mother board, asus M5A97 LE 2.0.
And audio for tv runs through HDMI if that helps.

Just wondering as TV is used for Netflix/Hulu/Ripped movies/games and I use monitor for autocad, solidworks, office, web, music, video, and gaming as well.

Unfortunately sending sound from one program to another is not something many companies think about any more. Older software(games, media players) used to at least have an option to select what sound device you wanted to use.

You are at the mercy of the programs for the most part now I think.
