Question Audio issue - Loud sounds

Been having an issue with my audio for a while, its intermittent but when loud noises occur sometimes the sound gets all distorted and increases in volume.

The only way I can explain this issue is to show it, here is a clip of it happening

This has been happening for some time, multiple different games.. I am not sure where to start looking.

What's your audio source and speaker setup?

Could be software or setting related but it could be blown driver as well.

Try loudness eq on or off and try headphones.

Ok, I will have to do some digging to find that info and get back to you.

What I can tell you off the top of my head -
I'm just running my audio through Corsair Void wired headset, windows 10.

I did just pump up my equalizer settings on ICUE software so I could hear better.
I don't know if that's what caused this because it had happened before but now it's more frequent.

Could be audio conflict. What's your audio source, as in sound chip, motherboard or sound card? Let us know what you have, list full system specs.
