I upgraded my PSU today due to power issues, and now I have ran into another, albeit less severe problem: My headset wouldn't work when plugged into the audio/mic ports on top of my pc case, where I had it plugged in before. I could see the audio bar move in settings, but couldn't hear any of it. Switched over to some ports on my motherboard, and those seem to work just fine.
Any idea what could have happened to my case audio ports? As far as I know, I didn't unplug anything.

Specs:
  • Ryzen 5 5600
  • RX 6700XT
  • MSI Xpower Gaming Titanium X370
  • Fractal Ion 850W 80+ Gold (new psu)

verify that you didn't unintentionally disconnect case connections to the motherboard.
even if they appear in place, make sure they are all firmly seated.
Verified, everything is firmly in place. I did momentarily disconnect the HD audio cable from the mobo while installing new cables, don't know if I could have damaged anything in doing so.
