Hi to all,

my computer is experiencing the following problem.
While viewing a video in HTML 5 on YouTube or a different site audio starts to skip/stutter if I open a website in another tab.
This happens with both Firefox and Edge.
The same problem occurs while playing a video made with my camera (therefore a video on my hard disk) and opening a website at the same time: audio of the video starts to skip/stutter.
My computer's specs:
Processor: AMD FX-6300 six-core processor, processor speed 3,5 GHz with TurboCore up to 4,1 Ghz - Vishera 32nm Technology
RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz (11-11-11-28) (two sticks of 4 GB each)
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0 (Socket 942)
Graphic card: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 - 2GB - GDDR5 – processor speed 1006 GHz
Hard drive: Seagate ST2000DM001-1ER164 – 2000 GB – SATA-III – 7200 RPM
Optical drive: LG DVD Writer HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSB0
I have no audio card, I use jack on my motherboard ( Speccy says: NVIDIA High Definition Audio)
Operating system: Windows 10 Home Edition (64 bit)
PSU: Antec VPF550 - 550W - 80 PLUS® BRONZE certified with Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), No Load Operation (NLO), Brown-Out Protection (BOP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP) Surge & Inrush Protecion (SIP), Heavy-duty Caps - High-performance capacitors ensure tightest DC stability and regulation. - Active PFC.
I don't know if the cause of this lies in hardware or software.
What can cause this problem and how can I get rid of this?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

Speccy shows Your default sound device is actually your GPU, yet your motherboard has built in 8 channel audio.
Search cortana for sound and choose the control panel option - I bet Nvidia output is Default, you might want to swap that to Realtek HD Audio

If that is right, and you meant to use Nvidia GPU then I would update the GPU drivers as HD Audio is part of them. Alternate, could check you have latest sound drivers for motherboard, and use realtek instead.

Hi Colif and thank you very much for answering!!!
In “Uninstall or change a program” I see an “NVIDIA audio driver HD” installed, but as audio driver was set something belonging to Windows (a Windows 10 driver I suppose).
I installed “Realtek high definition audio driver” and now Speccy says:

Now the problem occurs rarely and is less intense (I don't know if this is due to Realtek or not), but sometimes it still occurs.
How can I get rid of this problem completely?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

I think reduction occurred because you now not using graphics card for both audio and video

Perhaps make sure you have latest chipset drivers for motherboard. Update your Graphics card drivers as well.

Do they both still use flash for YouTube video? Edge should be using the ie version which is an auto update on Windows Update, not sure about Firefox.
