Question Audio popping/crackling

Recently ive noticed what i think is audio popping? however im not sure if it is

i can recreate it like this, or when im watching a youtube video and i scroll the volume bar it sounds static-ey

Spec list

  • Motherboard: MSI B550m PRO-VDH WiFi
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5700g
  • GPU: RX 6600 (24.5.1 Drivers)
  • PSU: Corsair CV 550
  • Headset: Logitech PRO series X (Connected via USB)
Ran latencymon while i played FighterZ with some friends while on call (popping could be heard)

If someone can let me know if some audio popping is normal id appreciate it or if theres a way to fix it, thank you

You might want to see what BIOS version you're on at this moment of time and if yopu have any BIOS versions pending update. To add, if you have any BIOS updates, clear the CMOS once you've verified the BIOS flashing was successful.

As for your audio, it's driven by a USB, so your audio processing is happening courtesy of your USB port, not the audio chip.

I noticed you have a Corsair CV unit, how old is the PSU in your build? You should look into a higher quality unit, IMHO.
