[SOLVED] Audio Preamps?

Are there components you can purchase for a home build the integrate quality mic preamps into it? This would be for podcasting / youtube type stuff. I've seen some sound card related stuff, but that mostly looks like it's made to push audio out. I want to capture audio using something like a broadcast mic. The best alternative I've seen so far is;

That could be used to hook up to about any PC. I'm just wondering if off the shelf audio recording preamps exist that could be added into a home build.

You're looking for an audio mixer for broadcasting sessions? You could look into something like this but I'm sure what sort of an audio setup you're gunning for and/or what sort of equipment you want to work with.
