Audio / Sound Troubleshooting?

My laptop's audio suddenly stopped working after muting it for a few minutes. Whenever I click the audio/sound icon it says it had detected problems. And after a few minutes it couldn't identify a problem, when the sound clearly isn't working. Help?

Have you got your speakers disabled? i had this problem when using skype. might help. go to your control panel> Hardware and sound> then under sound go to Manage audio devices. Have a play around with that. right clickk and enable or disable. It's not certain that it will work. dont mess anything up lol.

Hey!

The main problem you could be facing after checking if you've not disabled the speakers would be updating your Driver.
Try updating your Sound and audio drivers from the official website of your Laptop or Intel or whatsoever. If you want to make life easier I would suggest downloading softwares like Slimdrivers or Drivermax.
They'll update it automatically though the first option is better!
