Audio-Technica AT2020 Working w/ Samson SP01 Shock Mount

I have had my Audio-Technica AT2020 for over a year now and I have been running a standard up right mic stand with the mic just sat resting in the shock mount. I'm looking to a arm stand and want my mic upside down overhanging my desk. I want to know if the Audio-Technica AT2020 will screw into the Samson SP01 or if it will just fall out? I have the USB version of the AT2020 if that makes a difference.
