What you want to do is to come to California and attend the computer show in Pomona. It's the computer show of computer shows, and you could pickup a 60GB hard drive for half the price you would pay in Australia.

umm... ooooookaaaay
how does that work?
i spend 1800 dollars australian to get a airline ticket to the us,
go to this convention, spend 150 US dollars to buy a hard drive, (which i have to convert from australian at 0.51) then fly home
total cost approx $2000 australian
cost of 60gig hard drive here $525 + $5 in petrol
besides... i found out the cheap shop doesnt have the 60 in the 60gxp yet, its a 4 platter gxp75
i opted for the 40gig 60gxp for only 325 late thursday.
a good deal.

I dont know if i siad this before but heres what id do:

Get someone you know in the states to buy your (relative or close friend)

Have them ship it to you

I think this could save you some money
