Auto USB Backup

Hello, I am trying to figure how to make a usb auto backup my mac.
I want it so I can plug it in and it will auto backup all my photos in my iphoto.
I dont want it so i have to drag folders i just want to be able to plug in and wait.

I believe what you want to do is possible using the backup utility on your Mac OS X. It's called Time Machine and it should be able to give you the option of automatic backups to your external USB drive.
