[SOLVED] automatic clipping software

I have tried using outplayed and lowkey.gg, but they all make my frames drop to 60. I am wondering if there is some other software that doesn't cause fps drops, or is there some fix to the fps drops.

Hi Alex,

Assume when you say clipping software you mean for recording games, personally I use instant replay on shadowplay, believe AMD has a equivilent, you could also use OBS however as far as Im aware that is for recording rather than instant replay.

I'd try obs, however I do think you might struggle with it being a integrated.

When you say edit do you mean to setup the software for recording or to get the clip from the recording you made?

If you mean getting the clip then you could use just windows 10 photos alot easier than having to drag it into a video editor.

That is a function of your hardware and what software you use.

Capturing and editing are two different things.

I suggest continue using Obs, and then you can use Avidemux to cut the recordings in any length you want - even without the need for re-encoding.
