I usally accept all updates from MS but SP-2 "killed" a program I have been
using for a long time. How can I continue to accept the updates and exclude
SP-2? Thanks.

Thanks Wesley. From the 1st link I chose "Block Windows XP Service Pack 2"
from the Scripting Guys.

You would be wiser to update your unnamed program to make it compatible with
SP 2, which is an extremely important update to Windows.

If possible (you give no info) can you update the program you have been using
for a long time? It would be much wiser to take that approach instead of
excluding SP2.
