Question aux_pwr light shows when I try to boot up my Dell Optiplex 760

When I try to boot up the PC, a beeping noise comes and it shows the AUX_PWR light, and I saw a post somewhere to reset the BIOS, but idk where the power button is, cause the whole case is held together by hopes and dreams basically (the plastic bit on the front is gone, it broke off before I got it)
Edit: I recently got a new motherboard, and replaced the CMOS battery

Did you just get the PC or have you had it, it worked, and is now not working?
It has an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, 8 GB DDR2 (4x2), and currently no OS, because the PC doesn't recognize the Windows XP that was on the hard drive before I wiped it, thinking it would make a difference, I also tried to have a SATA SSD with Ubuntu work, but that didn't work either.
I got it from my school, I found it sitting on a shelf, and was curious if I got it working (it does) and operational (not yet)
I got the pc a few months ago, it works, it just won't boot.
 
There are four case versions of the Dell Optiplex 760.

You are going to have to do some work and perhaps a lot of work to figure it all out.

For example: the Desktop version maintenance etc. begins on Page 55 of the Service Manual.

Use the Service Manual as a Guide and Reference to determine exactly what may be in the build and what may be missing.

If not the Desktop version, then start with appropriate page for whichever case version you have.

Also go to Dell's website (be sure that it is Dell's website) and look for the applicable User Guide/Manual matching the pc.

If possible, take some photographs. Front, back, and inside.

Especially the motherboard.

Post the photographs here via imgur (www.imgur.com).

The scope of the problem(s) needs to be narrowed down.

Unfortunately, the pc may be beyond any repairs and restoration to a fully working computer.

And you do not want to spend any money just to learn that.

The most likely failure in this case is the power supply. Unless you can obtain an identical part numbered P/S either free or not more than $10 or so the PC is a complete writeoff, as it's not worth trying to resurrect it.
The PSU being a failure is both a little unlikely and very likely.
It's unlikely because when I tried to install Windows XP through a USB drive, it showed boot options, and it's likely because I had a second, identical Optiplex, but the PSU blew up cause of dust buildup in it from sitting on a shelf for so long. Before I tried to boot this one up, I got the dust away with a vaccuum cleaner.
