Looking for a gpu for my new pc, but everything is sold out everywhere with the exception of way overpriced cards. Does anyone know where a guy can buy a card at a regular price, other than wait to be notified by Nvidia or evga. It's the last piece of the puzzle I'm thinking 1070 ti or a 1080

Doesn't help , because when in stock the prices are doubled automatically on all makes and models.

As Blackbird said everything is scarily overpriced. Even GTX 1080's, which were once a safe haven from cryptocurrency mining, have become very appealing to crypto miners looking to mine equihash algorithm coins like Zcash because they do not have any scaling issues.

Best bet would be to go local and ask Best Buy or Fries employee when their next shipment is and cross your fingers that the miners don't get there first.

Nvidia is the only place to get an actual deal.

Retailers were asked by Nvidia a few days ago to drop the prices for gamers , but so far they are not doing so. Nvidia is the only site to find a deal.
