AVI subtitles

hi there,i have a movie(avi file) that i downloaded and it also has different srt. files for different language subtitles,i want to know how to run the english subs,i am using the media player on windows 7,any help is appreciated

Forget about media player. I think that can only play embedded subtitles.

Go and download VLC it can use external .srt files.

Just go to File -> Open File and choose a srt and avi file.

Or download vobsub and istall it. The .srt file must have the same name as the video file, exept the ending.

hey thanks for the advice,the VLC player works fine with the subs,it was automatically in sync with the subs also,thanks again
