Hi there,
I am trying to OC my 7600k to 4.5 Ghz. While messing around with the settings, i came across a setting in the bios called “AVX Ratio Offset”.

Do i need to mess with this? If so, how much should i put.

Oh and i have a asrock z720 Pro 4

Thanks,

Solution
It seems as though that the only software failing is OCCT ??
I guess OCCT is being picky. I heard OCCT solves complex mathematical problems and whenever the answer is different from whatever stored inside, it gives an error.

If you're happy with your OC, leave it be. I have an OCD about tests being perfect so I always use more voltage than necessary to keep it stable under all conditions.
If im just going to be playing games, i dont think AVX is really necessary, is it?
Even if it was necessary and started causing problems, you could always use the offset. The performance drop is negligible as AVX itself is faster and more optimized than the older instructions used.

You could also search the google for it (Game name + AVX). For example, Grid 2 uses AVX when some options are turned on. But I haven't heard any other game. But I do know RPCS3 (PS3 Emu) uses it. Always good to play older console games with higher quality (PS2/3 4K anyone?).
