awful lag in online games

hello everyone im having an issue with my ping in games, i will have low ping and i will have some phantom packetloss which shows up in only online games, the rest of my connection is fine. can someone please help with this issue.

try open dns or goolge dns see if anything changes. sometime you can have a bad server between you and the game server.

i did it thought it worked for a moment but then i had the lag reappear out of knowhere and i also did a speedtest while this was occuring and nothing is wrong.my ping spiked to 999, and packetloss went to 20%.

if your using wireless..check that your the only one on the router there no leaches. make sure the wireless drivers and the ethernert and mb chipset drivers are updated, run malware and hitman pro scan. use msconfig turn everything off in startup other then your anti virus. make sure nvidia or amd extra software not installed or on. they now have software that acts like malware that it sends info in the back ground and takes up bandwith.

everything is already updated and it is not nvidia geforce experience, i have used it for a long time same pc and same router, my pc is also clean of any viruses

i found a possible workaround, i had to change the drivers my pc was using to connect to the wireless. im not sure how long that this will last but it works for now
