AX850 + Asus GTX 970

Hi guys,

So, I just bought an ASUS GTX 970 and it should be with me early next week. Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me find the old cables that came with my AX850 Corsair PSU. Because the GTX 970 uses an eight pin power cable and my old GPU used 2x six pin power adapter, do you guys know of any websites where I can buy a power cable with eight pins for the Corsair AX850?I live in Europe, so ideally not having it flown from Asia or the US would be better.

I have the same powersupply. The 6pin cables that you used on your old card are actually 6+2pin, or 8 pin, cables and should work just fine on the 970.
If you must replace cables, ONLY purchase them from Corsair; yes, kinda costly but they are matched to your power supply. The connectors are matched, line impedance is correct, and they will use the best components to assemble the cables.
Check your current cables, I think you will find they will work.

The Corsair part number for that cable is CP-8920014.

The AX850 came with four of them.
