AXi 860 for a possible 2 x 980 non reference card build?

Hi there PSU aficionados,

I was wondering if a single AXi 860 would do for a possible 2 way 980 non ref build since I hear it's around 160watt (<Circa that) for a ref 980 and considering non ref cards will consume a tad more I was unsure. I am running Corsair GS 750Watt on a AMD 6970 Sapphire.

tl;dr: Would two non reference 980's run on a AXi 860 PSU.

It will be more than enough. You have a hefty room for over clocking both GPUs.

You will be more than fine with that power supply. On a AX760w psu people can run two 780's in SLI. Being that these card are more power efficient you are golden. Hope this helps
