Hello all.

Maybe just some reassurance......hahhaa.

Checked out several new Ryzen 3000 reviews on YT. More than half mentioned if we had a b450 mobo we could take full advantage of the new 3000 series without breaking the bank with an x570.

Opinions?

Solution
I agree.
I have no doubts, from what I have read so far about the new 3000 series CPU's, that I will have no problem running a Ryzen 5 3600 or even a Ryzen 7 3700x on my ROG Strix B450-F Gaming MB once any BIOS updates get the bugs worked out.
The only feature I won't have is PCIe 4.0.

If you get a B450 board you will need a previous gen CPU in order to use a BIOS update before using the new Ryzen 3000s. I understand wanting to save some money but keep that in mind if you decide to pull the trigger on this.
He didn't say it in his post but he already has an Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming MB with a Ryzen 5 2600x on it.
So he should be fine once Asus fixes the Bugs in the new Ryzen 3000 compatible BIOS.
