Hi guys and girls.

Whose ordered from butterfly labs before any one? (are they what they say they are when dealing with orders)

List of vendors

Well, i can't see the point mining bitcoins, and currently mine ltc, but the heats are unstable with my 7970's in crossfire. but unable to asic mine ltc. but would like to mine in lower pools when the time comes by investing in a asic miner. (asic miners are dangerous commercial users) and given each 7970's about 320-400$ if i sold them on ebay for a asic miner. would you even invest in one.

I mine: ltc, and anything lower in pools. (some as hobby, and some because i have pc parts that serve no use at all.)

So here is your issue. You think that you are gaining money because of using these extra pc parts to mine, but when you look at the amount you are gaining vs the amount you are spending on the energy to power these graphics cards you will be on a steady decline and it is not going to get better from here on out. As I am sure you know the difficulty of the bit coin market goes up over time to adjust with the rate of technology advancement. The issue with mining with your 7970's is that they are not fast enough to turn a profit because they are power DEVOURERS. As to your question about buying a commercial ASIC miner I would not. The reason for this is because by the time you get your miner, the difficulty and technology advancement will...

The reason for this is because by the time you get your miner, the difficulty and technology advancement will have literally doubled or tripled. That is why these people who have bought the butterfly labs miners are hardly making back their money these days. I hope I answered all of your questions and if you have any more I would be glad to try and help.

Your 80 percent right, as the cost of these gpu's are demanding,i use my employers work-site for my milk carton(my desk gets real hot, the networks un-secure but my desks hot and people always ask what the noise is) any hows your right about that. those who have 30-60 ghs second are now or next to obsolete, due to the cost and electricity, and not the hash rate.

A profitable miner would be one that uses either less or next to no electricity, kinda ironic given that someone will sell you a miner in any form while making much more with the same premise as the person who wants to mine.

Money sure is a dirty word.
