My motherboard is a B350M Bazooka- I am just wondering if an 8X2GB kit of Crucial Ballistix will be compatible? My motherboard only states 2933(OC), 3200(OC) so I'm not sure.

Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Thanks for response! Yeah 2x8gb haha- The clock rating is 3000mhz base and it would be with my Ryzen 3600x.
I'd certainly give it a try...you might even get 3000 XMP. I have a 1700 running with 2x8Gb for GSkill 2666 at 2933 on a B350 Mortar, so I know it's possible although I had to set timings manually.

I'd definitely set DRAM voltage manually. I've found it doesn't always work at the XMP voltage on either of my Mortar's...one B350 and one B450.

Umm...do you mean 2x8Gb? what are the clock ratings of the memory? and which processor are you running on? Ryzen Gen 1 are only rated to 2666, Gen1+ to 2933 and Gen 2/3 to 3200.

Memory has changed a lot since B350 came out with only Gen1 processors to worry about. Also, AGESA's have progressively improved memory compatibility. I just wonder if MSI has kept their QVL up to date for all the changes for a (very) out of date product. But I can imagine it will work at 2666 at least, even for a gen 1 processor.

Thanks for the info mate, I do believe they are XMP so I'm certainly going to give them a try once they arrive! I'm not too confident doing manual timing you see since I've never tried but I would hope to get them running at least 2933mhz.
