Question B450 Better than the B350

Is the one I bought (or will buy)...I already have an MSI b350 Tomohawk

Long story short, I am building my friend a computer with an old Ryzen 1600 I had laying around. My computer currently has a 3600 in it on the B350 Tomohawk. Is it worth the hastle of pulling the CPU out and installing my 3600 on the B450? Does it make a difference? If not I was just going to put the 1600 on the B350 and call it done.

That's a tough choice because those both seem to be fairly budget boards.

If it was me, I'd get a better B450 MB (like the Asus ROG Strix B450 or B450 Tomahawk Max) for your build and give him the B350 board.

So there won't be a significant performance boost if I put my 3600 on a B450 rather than a B350 it is on now? I also am upgrading to a GTX 1160 super, I don't believe the motherboard will affect it either...(?) That article only gave me some info about the b350 motherboard, not the differences between the b450 and b350.
