Question B450 + Ryzen 3600 or spend extra on x570?

Is PCIe 4.0, nvme and all that worth it? I'm on ~$450 budget and want to upgrade my fx6300 this summer. I'm wondering if there is going to be downsides to pairing b450 + 3600 (ex. ryzen 3600 is advertised for PCIe 4.0)

Any suggestions on whether or not this is a good idea?

Some companies such as Gigabyte have BIOS updates to allow the 3rd gen CPU's to work on existing B450/X470 boards as well as updates for PCIe 4.0.

If you are on a very limited budget then go with the b450 board. PCIE 4.0 is useless right now and will only be useful for enthusiasts in the near future (new m.2 drives will be extremely expensive).
