[SOLVED] b450 tomahawk max no power

Hi, first time building an AMD system and having an issue here.

got a b450 tomahawk max and a 3700x
Having a bit of an issue the power button on my case illuminates but mobo has no lights and cpu fan wont spin or anything psu fan wont even spin.
but the psu works i tested it in another system already any help?

Dumb question, but I've seen people make this mistake before: Did you press the power button on the case?
If you did, then make sure the connections to the motherboard (power AND front panel headers) are all in.

Yes there is no power button directly on this motherboard so i have to use the case power button.
Ive unplugged and replugged multiple times
mobo seems to be getting some power since the light illuminates on the case for power

Try taking it out of the case (placing it on a box or something as a test bench) and using something conductive to jump the power SW headers on the motherboard.
