Question B450m gaming plus not booting with R7 5700

So I have a ryzen 5 2600 and decided to upgrade to a ryzen 7 5700, I updated the bios to 7B87v1H3 and installed the CPU and it did not post, the gpu fan is not spinning and the cpu led is on. I went back to the 2600 and downgraded the bios to 7B87v1G but I’m still not getting a post.

Btw the CPU is brand new, I already removed the bios battery and had the power button pressed for 10 seconds

Can someone help me out?

What BIOS version were you on prior to the update process? As for your BIOS Flash process, did you follow though this guide;

to flash the BIOS ?

Ideally, once you've verified that the BIOS was flashed successfully to the latest version, you're advised to disconnect from the wall and display, remove the CMOS battery and press and hold the power button for 30 secs to drain any residual power. Thereafter, reseat the battery after 30mins.

Did you try reseating the ram in your build? Speaking of which, please list the specs to your build like so:
