Hi. I am planning to buy this motherboard Gigabyte B460M DS3H with Intel 10700 cpu but I noticed that there it is written that it will Support for DDR4 2933/2666/2400/2133 MHz so if I put 3200mhz ram it will downgrade to 2933 or it depends on the cpu itself? I'm confused in this information. My purpose is only for gaming.

Solution
I think so, though I am not 100% sure.
a year or so ago, intel decided to cap B and H series motherboards memory speeds, 2666mhz on i3s and i5s and 2933 on i7s and i9s, unless you have a Z series motherboard.
After obvious backlash, they pulled that back on the new 11th gen motherboards, but I am unsure if they also did that on the 10th gen boards.
You should probably check with gigabyte support about that.
