B85M-E compatibility cpu

I bought a B85M-E motherboard from amazon and I have an intel pentium g3258 cpu and apparently it isn't compatible with my bios. My questions are: Does this motherboard support bios flashback (no cpu needed)? If so, when I turn it on with or without the cpu it shuts down in 1 second. I tried different rams, different Psu, different Gpu, even different motherboards and I can't get it to work. I am starting to think my cpu is bad or that my motherboard needs updating. What should I do? I got all the gear quite some months back so I can't return anything anymore.

It neeeds BIOS 2001 to support that CPU. Look at the sticker on the mobo.

Pentium G3258 (3.2GHz, 2C, L3:3M, GT1, 53W, rev.C0) ALL 2001

If the last 4 numbers arent 2001 or higher it needs a BIOS update

And no it doesnt support flashback. So you'll have to take it to a shop and ask them to flash it with a CPU the BIOS thats on it now supports
